Sifu，Passing Down The Spirit

In China, spirit passed on holds a sacred place, where not merely craft and skill, but the very soul of wisdom is passed from hand to hand, from heart to heart. As the ancients have wisely spoken: "A Sifu for but a day, a father for all of life." The Sifu, to his disciple, is as both ruler and guide, a model for learning, yet also a father in spirit. The earnest toil and steadfast spirit of the elders flow like waters from the mountain's crest, descending gently to nourish the blossoms in the vale below.
