Hongda Heavy Industry's Lean Benchmark Commendation Conference Concludes Successfully, 2026 Safety Production Month Launched Simultaneously!

Practical work builds benchmarks, lean production safeguards production. On July 17th at 09:00, Hongda Heavy Industry held its quarterly Lean Benchmark Commendation Conference, simultaneously launching a series of drills for the 2026 Safety Production Month. The company president, department heads, workshop team leaders, and all award-winning representatives gathered to commend advanced individuals, disseminate regulations, deploy safety measures, and unite all employees in their efforts to improve quality and efficiency, and ensure safe and stable production.

I. Regulations Dissemination: Making Lean Selection Open and Transparent
At the beginning of the event, Wen Xiang read aloud the core content of the "Lean Benchmark Selection Incentive Management Rules" to all employees, clearly explaining the selection dimensions, evaluation criteria, incentive standards, and approval process. This lean benchmarking initiative covers five key areas: information technology, exceeding production targets, 6S workplace practices, quality control, and project implementation. All evaluation criteria are public, the assessment process is transparent, and the reward mechanism is in place, ensuring that every employee can see their goals and tangible incentives for advancement, promoting "everyone participating in improvement and practicing lean principles everywhere" as the norm in the factory.

II. Paying Tribute to Benchmarks! A Glimpse of the Quarterly Lean Pioneers
Through comprehensive performance evaluation, a group of outstanding individuals and teams who have dedicated themselves to frontline work and achieved remarkable results have emerged, embodying the spirit of lean through their actions:
Information Technology Benchmark | Wang Yong, Chu Xianglin
They implemented MES reporting, barcode scanning, and equipment inspection in a standardized manner throughout the entire process. Quarterly spot checks showed zero omissions and zero errors in data entry, solidifying the company's data foundation for intelligent manufacturing through standardized and digitalized operations.

Exceeding Production and Timely Delivery Benchmark | Li Xuehui Team
The 6300 workshop achieved a breakthrough, exceeding the quarterly production target by more than 50%. All orders were fulfilled on time, with no delays or work stoppages, ensuring the company's reputation for timely order delivery.

6S On-Site Benchmark | Lu Huan
Adhering to routine and standardized on-site management, the office achieved full compliance with monthly 6S inspections, with items properly stored and the environment clean and orderly, consistently maintaining its status as a benchmark for on-site management.

Process Quality Control Benchmark | Yuan Xiaokang
Strictly adhering to the red lines of process quality, achieving a 100% first-pass yield rate for quarterly workpieces, realizing zero defective output, zero rework/repair, and zero quality complaints, upholding the bottom line of product quality with craftsmanship.

Marine Connecting Rod Special Project Benchmark | Chang Peng Team
Rising to challenges and collaborating efficiently, they overcame multiple technical difficulties in the trial production of new products, successfully completing the key project of marine connecting rods, paving the way for mass production of the new products.

The company president delivered an important speech on-site, fully affirming the phased lean improvement achievements of all employees, and officially announcing the full launch of the 2026 Safety Production Month.
The event clarified the company's core management philosophy: production must not only increase capacity and efficiency, but also address risks and prevent hidden dangers. Lean improvement helps enterprises enhance quality and efficiency, while safe production safeguards the lives and health of all employees; neither is dispensable.

The head of safety and environmental protection simultaneously announced the overall arrangements for Safety Month, covering emergency drills in four major areas: workshops, dormitories, office buildings, and the canteen. All employees were required to participate in practical training, rejecting mere formalities, and genuinely improving emergency response capabilities. After the presentation, department heads took turns signing to acknowledge their safety responsibilities, using written commitments to solidify their local management duties, proactively shoulder the main responsibility for safe production, and build a comprehensive safety defense line for the factory area.

The awards ceremony concluded, and the winning teams, led by their leaders, proceeded to the prize collection area to receive their exclusive awards. Everyone personally received the prizes representing the company's recognition, exchanging work experiences, creating a warm atmosphere. Each gift affirmed past achievements and encouraged all members to continue cultivating lean practices and achieving even greater success in future work.

Benchmarks are all around us; lean practices begin in daily life; safety is always in our hearts.
We hope all Hongda colleagues will take advanced practices as role models, proactively learn from them, and continuously optimize in digital operations, on-site management, quality control, and capacity expansion; actively participate in all safety month drills and activities, and always keep safety in mind.
Let's promote production with lean manufacturing, ensure development with safety, and work together to create even better results for Hongda Heavy Industry!
